As an accomplished writer, the most recognizable elements of Jill's work focuses on her love of black humor, and her gift of story telling. She has a fresh way of looking at the world - as demonstrated in her funny, edgy, and often unsettling portrayals of human relationships. Whether the format is stage plays, screen and television writing, or speech writing, Jill knows how to suck the marrow out of life, and when you get down to the bones of it, communicate just how unattractive the marrow can be.
Her greatest satisfaction is seeing her words performed on stage. Her Fringe show, “Toxic Saliva” won critical acclaim and was listed in the top ten Fringe shows at Vancouver's Fringe Festival.
Jill’s material has been performed on a variety of stages to include the Vancouver Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Glasgow Comedy Festival and Vancouver Fringe Festival. Jill has also written several plays, poetry, screenplays and scripts and currently has numerous stage plays and projects in development.
